Q: How do I know I have succesfully registered on the Customer Portal?

A: An email will be forwarded to you stating that you have successfully registered


Q: I have tried to login but it is defaulting back to the screen - why?

A: Please check that you are in the correct portal. Tenants and not landlords. Secondly ensure that the meter serial number is correct and that you have not let out any zeros.

Q: I am not seeing the Payment button on the payment screen.

A: The payment button will only appear once you have clicked on the selected amount. Click on the down arrow, and then click on the amount you want to pay. Once you have selected the pound amount then the payment button will appear.


Q: How do I know if I have a Visa or Master card?

A: Have a look at your physical card that you want to pay with. The card will have VISA logo or two circles (one red, one orange) interlocking on it with Master Card written underneath. Click on the icon VISA card if it is Visa or the logo MasterCard if your card is a Master Card.


Q: Can I check to see how much electricity I have paid for the last two months ?

A: Yes there is an option on the first screen under the select payment box. You can select your start date and end date, press the Report button and all the transactions will show on the screen or you can download the file in .csv format.


Q: What is emergency credit?

A: If you have run out of credit on the meter and cannot access the account online to pay or it is a few days till payday, you can access the emergency credit system. Press and hold both BLUE and GREEN buttons for 5 seconds to activate. Please remember that any emergency credit used will be deducted off your next payment.


Q: What happens if the emergency credit runs out?

A: All utilities, except water will be cut off. Once you buy more credit all utilities will be switched on again.


Q: If I am nearing the end of my credit on the meter, will there be any warning sounds?

A: No. You will need to check the meter frequently if your credit is low or top up.


Q: How do I know how many facilities I am paying for?

A: Your meter reads from 1 to 3 utilities. To see what utilities are connected to the meter press the BLUE button on your meter.

EL = Electricity, GA = Gas and WA = water. The utilities will be shown per screen. Once finished the default screen (showing how much credit you have) will show.
